If we want our teens to be all they can be then that all starts with US parents! Loving, nuturing and guiding them is vital to their development of their character as young adults. Loving guidance and dicipline works far better than a swift hand or neglectful eye. If we will stand fast and stand beside our teen on a "daily" basis, we will be surprised what an impact that will have on their daily reaction to our guidelines we lay out for them and how they react to our rules. Consistancy is the key to any parenting! Hitting, violance, and neglect only escalates the situations and makes them rebel further and then you a have far worse probem than you had in the first place!! Wake up parents! LOVE them! DONT abuse them!
